Chris Clyburn

Bio

Chris trained as a chef in the late 80s, working in various restaurants home & abroad throughout the 90s. But it was becoming a finalist on ITVs Rosemary Shragers School for Cooks that he says really kickstarted his culinary journey. Having ran his own catering company he spent several years working as project manager for Jamie Oliver's Ministry of Food teaching people to cook healthy nutritious meals from scratch.

Going on to work directly on a project for Jamie in partnership with FareShare and Tesco, delivering cookery demonstrations around the UK teaching community cooks how to utilise surplus food to provide nutritious meals.

He now works directly for FareShare supporting charity food members with recipes and ideas on using surplus produce to feed those most in need.

A regular food stories contributor on BBC Radio he combines his passion for food & cycling and provides recipes for Proper Cycling magazine.

He can be found at many of our events discussing and demoing his work with FareShare as well as cooking under his Musette Chef name teaching delicious & nutritious recipes.

In his spare time he is a keen musician and has written & released 3 albums that often soundtrack his social media food posts.
